Information for the public
Citizens' participation is a prerequisite for the success of alternative management systems for all products. Regular information and training on how to recycle along with the benefits and importance of alternative management can provide an incentive for further active citizenship.
Information is a useful tool for civil societies, whether they are formally institutionalized in the form of Local Authorities (LAs), or in the form of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). Their actions and new initiatives will be presented through the respective links.
Finally, useful links for alternative management institutions in Greece and abroad, together with statistics on the evolution of recycling and waste streams can be found on the list to the left.
